On January 21, 1975, Zsa Zsa Gabor married inventor Jack Ryan. This was the sixth marriage for Gabor and the second marriage for Ryan. The wedding took place at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jack Ryan was an engineer and an inventor. While working with Raytheon he designed Sparrow and Hawk missiles. Later, when working for Mattel, he created both Barbie and Chatty Cathy.
The couple divorced a year later. Gabor was quoted as saying, “‘I just couldn’t cope,. There was also the matter of Jack’s dungeon, a torture chamber painted a sinister black and decorated with black fox fur. My knight in shining armour, the inhabitant of a fairytale castle … was a full-blown Seventies-style swinger, into wife-swapping and sundry sexual pursuits as a way of life.’

On November 19, 1937, Magda Gabor married Jan Bychowsky, a Polish Count. This was the first marriage for Magda. Bychowsky had inherited his title, but had little money. The couple often received assistance from Magda’s parents. There are differing sources as to how the marriage ended. Some sources list them as divorced, while others show Magda as a widow. Whatever the story, it was through this relationship that Magda first became involved in the resistance movement in World War II.

On September 21, 1973, Eva Gabor married Frank Gard Jameson, Sr., at the Vivien Webb Chapel of The Webb School in Clairmont, California. This was the fifth and final wedding for Eva. Jameson had four children from a previous marriage. He was a former aerospace executive and former Vice President of Rockwell International. The couple divorced in 1983, after ten years of marriage. Eva became a step-mother to his children, maintaining relationships with them until her death in 1995.
